Who loves the rodeo? Based on the attendance at the annual Silver Spurs Rodeo Parade and Monster Bulls events on Valentine’s Day Saturday … thousands of you.

Saturday morning, downtown St. Cloud was pulsing with the vibrant procession of equestrian groups, marching bands, vintage vehicles, and local organizations, forming the heartbeat of western heritage, strong community spirit, and unique blend of cowboy culture and Osceola County tradition. Performance equestrian team Faithful W Ranch Riders won the hearts of judges.

If that didn’t amp up your pulse rate, Monster Bulls featured pro bull riders going pound-for-pounds against the Silver Spurs Riding Club’s best stock, and a field of talented barrel racers going up against the course and the clock. Local cowboys and racers from Osceola County took to the Silver Spurs Arena for their shots at pounding glory.

It all sets the stage for this weekend’s 156th Silver Spurs Rodeo, which will capture the area’s attention as part of the Osceola County Fair for three nights and Sunday afternoon.
