Raising funds while enjoying local dishes at Help Now's Tapas With A Purpose

Help Now of Osceola County, the area’s advocacy group for domestic violence victims and survivors, held its annual “Tapas With a Purpose” fundraising gala Saturday at Osceola Heritage Park. Donors came to sample incredible food offerings from local chefs and caterers tapas style—in small, shareable portions—and to bid on silent auction items. Thousands of dollars were raised to assist Help Now in advocating for victims, and providing safe haven and a defense against their abusers, while satisfying appetites with savory bites produced locally.
