Rodeo season got off to its unofficial start at Saturday morning’s Silver Spurs Rodeo parade, through the streets of downtown St. Cloud. Local luminaries from the rodeo, like Miss Silver Spurs and Miss Rodeo Florida and the world-renowed Quadrille riding team, elected officials, first responders, school and community groups made their way down Massachusetts Avenue and up New York Avenue, and rodeo fans of all ages turned out to be part of the spectacle. Monster Bulls kicked off the action Saturday in the Silver Spurs Arena, which continues Thursday— when students get free admission with school ID— through Sunday.
