Four School District of Osceola County departments will participate in a joint job fair Thursday, Oct. 13 from 8 a.m. to noon. It will be held at 401 Simpson Road, adjacent to the district’s Transportation center.
Representatives from the Transportation Services, Maintenance, School Nutrition and Custodial departments will be present, to interview people interested in working with the district. Staff will also be on hand to interview candidates who are interested in Paraprofessional (Teacher Assistant) positions. This job fair comes as the district continues to navigate its on-going teacher and bus driver shortage.
Individuals who are interested can apply for any position. Wages start out at $15 an hour across the district, and the employees receive health care benefits as well as the option to join the state of Florida’s retirement plan.
