The City of Kissimmee’s Development Services Center has been recognized with the Eagle Award in the Institutional Projects category ($5–10 million range) by the Associated Builders and Contractors Central Florida Chapter, the city has announced.
Presented annually, the Excellence in Construction (EIC) Awards celebrate the most outstanding construction projects completed by ABC CFC members. The program highlights skill, innovation, and collaboration that elevate construction standards across the industry. The Eagle Award, its highest distinction, recognizes projects that exemplify exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and teamwork.
The new 12,000 square-foot Development Services Center located next to Kissimmee City Hall and opened earlier this year has provide the city extra space to what it calls, "Enhance the City’s ability to serve residents and businesses by streamlining services, including permits and inspections, planning and zoning, code enforcement, and community improvement programs."
It was funded through building permits and inspection fees.
