The annual Kissimmee Mecum auto auction is in full swing at Osceola Heritage Park through Sunday. This year over 3,500 vehicles are registered for sale, including rare historic racing cars, entire collections of vintage Corvettes, and novelty vehicles from television and film.

It will be a Beautiful Night! The first Association of Poinciana Villages (APV) celebration of 2022 will be the Poinciana Beautiful Awards Gala on Saturday, Jan. 22. Doors open at 6 p.m. and festivities will start at 7.

Work on the Fortune Lakeshore Trail, a 10-foot wide multi-use trail that will run along Fortune Road and East Lakeshore Boulevard from U.S. Highway 192 to an existing St. Cloud trail head, will begin early this year — eventually.

What would the holidays be like without poinsettias? A native of Mexico, this beautiful plant was introduced to the U.S. in 1824. The large colorful bracts are actually not flowers, but modified leaves, which serve to attract pollinators to the tiny yellowish flowers in the center.
