Submitted by St. Cloud Main Street The Veterans Salute Dinner is typically held in November of each year, however, last year it was rescheduled for May 15, 2021, which is Armed Forces Day. This year the Soldiers City Veterans Salute Dinner will be Saturday, May 15, from 6 to 9 p.m.

St. Cloud hosting Mother-Son Sock Hop

Grab your poodle skirts - let's jive at St. Cloud’s Mother-Son Sock Hop May 8.  Dinner, dancing, and milkshakes included. The event will be from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Marina Banquet Hall, 1104 Lakeshore Blvd. Cost is $10 a person.  The deadline to register is May 4.

Visitor Center opens at Central Florida Animal Reserve

There was a reception to open the Visitor Center at the Central Florida Animal Reserve (CFAR) on April 3.  There was more than 50 guests who were Silver, Gold, Platinum Members and Coinholder’s (enhanced memberships) of CFAR.

Community Picnic will be Saturday, May 1

This Saturday, May 1, from 10 a.m. to noon, Poinciana residents are invited to come out and be a part of a Community Picnic. This event will be held at the amphitheater at Vance Harmon Park, 50 Country Club Drive. The picnic will include a DJ, games, face painting and more.
