You better not shout, you better not cry. I’m telling you why! The holiday season is sweeping in, and it is time to get in the spirit. Here are some events to get you in the holiday cheer.

Immerse yourself in a dazzling winter wonderland illuminated with millions of lights and filled with festive family activities and live entertainment for a one-of- a-kind, fully interactive holiday experience. Night of a Million Lights is a lightscape of spectacular sparkle and mesmerizing dancing lights. The new venue is now the Island H20 Waterpark west of Kissimmee.

This event benefits Give Kids The World Village, an 89-acre, whimsical nonprofit resort that provides critically ill children and their families from around the world with magical weeklong wish vacations at no cost.

Night of a Million Lights runs now through Jan. 1. For more information on the event and tickets visit https://www.gktw.org/ lights.

ICE! is back at Gaylord Palms starting this week. Don the signature blue parka and step into a wonderland carved by expert artisans out of two million pounds of colorful ice. You’ll see the story of How the Grinch Stole Christmas! in larger-than- life sculptures and even plunge down slides made entirely of ice in this Gaylord Hotels original experience. You can catch this spectacular display until Jan. 1 as well. For more information on the event visit https://christmasatgaylordpalms. marriott.com/ice.

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, an enchantress curses an unemotional prince into becoming a hideous beast. While a beautiful and intelligent young woman yearns for adventure. Their paths cross at the right time as the only way to break the spell is for this beast to learn to love and earn the love of another — all before the last petal falls from an enchanted rose. Osceola Center for the Arts is bringing Beauty and the Beast to life this weekend. Join the Young Actors Company this fall for this amazing musical. The event will be Nov. 17-20.
