Taking Control of Your Money: Aug. 4, 5-8 p.m.: Stop wondering where money went and letting it control you. Instead establish financial goals, discover your financial potential and develop a plan to make your money work for you. Register at https://ocfcs.eventbrite.com.
Virtual Event: A Home of Your Own, First Time Homebuyer – 1-Day Class Aug. 19 (Spanish) and Aug. 26 (English), 9 a.m.-5 p.m.: This class addresses the ins and outs of buying/building a home. Starting Your Own Cottage Food Business, Aug. 31, 10 a.m.-noon, online event, $6 fee: Cottage Foods are low-risk foods that you are allowed to make at home and sell. Florida Cottage Food law was recently revised, expanding opportunities for food entrepreneurs. Learn about these exciting new changes and how to start your own cottage food operation.
