Food distribution event in Kissimmee feeds more than 500 families

Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida teamed up with Good Samaritan Outreach of Orlando for a food distribution event on Oct. 23 at The Rock Church in Kissimmee. More than 500 families were assisted. Families received fruit, vegetables, milk, eggs, meat, pasta, rice, peanut butter and more. Funding to purchase food for this distribution came from a virtual food drive setup with Second Harvest Food Bank by The Disney Tourist Blog.
