Mr. Bruce Richard Johnson, 68, of Saint Cloud, FL passed away Monday, February 24th, 2020.

Bruce was born in Detroit, MI on August 17, 1951, the son of the late John and Elaine (Wixon) Buynak, of Orlando, FL. Bruce is survived by his loving and devoted wife of four decades, Sandra Johnson of St. Cloud, FL; his loving daughter, Audra Elaine Buynak of Colorado Springs, CO; his beloved Springer, Daphne Moon; his brothers Robert Buynak of Springfield, MO and Brian Buynak of Winter Haven, FL; and his niece Jennifer Buynak of Littleton, CO and his nephew Kevin Buynak of Leesburg, FL.

Known by many for thirty-one years as a Senior Craftsman at WED Design Tree Fab, EPCOT and Magic Kingdom Decorating, Bruce would most like to be remembered as an avid outdoorsman and lover of the Real Florida. He grew up hunting and fishing in Central Florida, as well as surfing the east coast beaches. For many years a bass fisherman, Bruce was most proud of his lifelong nickname “Mr. Flyrod”, bestowed in 1980 by the Florida Fly Fishing Club. A lover of all God’s creatures, he most loved dogs, especially the English Springer Spaniels that he joined at the Rainbow Bridge: Charlotte, Saleigh, Blossom, and Fanny. Many will know him because of his prized 1963 Corvette Sting Ray Coupe, often seen at the Saturday Night Cruise at Old Town, as well as annually at the Lake Mirror Concours d’Elegance and the Celebration Festival of Exotic Cars. A longtime member of NCRS  and AACA, his philosophy on cars was to “keep ‘em stock” and “trailers are for horses."

No services are planned. Arrangements under the direction of Fisk Funeral Home and Crematory, Saint Cloud, FL (www.FiskFH.com ).

Donations may be made in his memory to the AACA Museum, Inc., 161 Museum Drive, Hershey, PA 17033 (Antique Automobile Association of America).
