The Association of Poinciana Villages (APV) presents their Annual Luau Party on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Victory Pool for adults ages 21 and over. Wear your favorite island attire and enjoy an evening filled with music, dancing, food, a cash bar and tropical fun. One guest will have a chance to win a 75-inch smart TV. Rhythm, Rhyme & Storytime takes place on Tuesday, Oct. 13th from 10:30 to 11 a.m. This program is for children ages 0 to 5. Sing, swing and sway through this program dedicated to music and movement.
Baby and Me takes place on Tuesday, Oct. 13th from 11:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Hug your little ones while sharing this special first-time experience. This is for children from birth to 18 months. This program introduces books with playtime and repetitive music.

E.S.O.L. for Beginners takes place on Tuesday, Oct. 13th from 6:30 to 8 p.m. This class allows non-speakers to become familiar with the English language.
Flex Your Fingers takes place on Wednesday, Oct. 14th from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Spend quality time with your preschooler in a kid’s centered learning environment. Participate in pre-planned activities that encourage the development of fine motor skills.
Paint the Town takes place on Wednesday, Oct. 14th from 1 to 2 p.m. adults can unleash their creativity by painting a masterpiece! Supplies are provided, but registration is required.
Celebrate Winnie the Pooh’s 100th anniversary on Wednesday, Oct. 14th from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Spend time in Hundred Acre Wood. Read a fun Winnie the Pooh story. Learn the history of Winnie and enjoy a Pooh themed celebration.

Poinciana Christian Church’s Fall Fest takes place on Sunday, Oct. 18th from 5 to 7 p.m. This free family event is an evening filled with food, fun and fall festivities. Enjoy Trunk or Treat, carnival games, S’mores, food vendors, pumpkin painting ($1, cash only). No scary costumes or fake weapons at this event.

ALCO/oTECH will hold a Trunk or Treat on Thursday, Oct. 22nd at 5:30 p.m. from their campus at 1030 Cypress Pkwy. This evening of fun features food trucks, raffles, a haunted house, music and treats. Prizes will be given for the best costume (family friendly only).
Crush the Crisis Prescription Take Back Day will be on Saturday, Oct. 24th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is a way to dispose of unused prescription medication safely and anonymously. There will be drive-thru collection site at HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital, 325 Cypress Pkwy.
The 10th Annual APV Trunk or Treat and Fall festival is happening Saturday, Oct. 31st from 6 to 9 p.m. at Poinciana Activity Campus, 445 Marigold Ave. The Trunk or Treat will feature a DJ harvest dance party, trunks handing out candy, vendor tables, food trucks and a haunted house. There will be lots of photo ops stations. Activities ranging from Trunk or Treating to the APV’s Haunted Hotel.

Save the date! Poinciana Fest will be back at Valencia College – Poinciana campus, 3225 Pleasant Hill Rd., on Saturday, Nov. 14th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Poinciana Fest will feature food trucks, entertainment, vendors, live performances and a DJ. This celebration of community and commerce, presented by the Osceola Chamber and the Poinciana Council has sponsorship and vendor registration available.

Get ready for Halloween Bingo on Friday, Oct. 23rd at the Poinciana Community Center, 445 Marigold Ave. Come dressed for some Halloween fun! Doors open at 6 p.m. and first ball is dropped at 7 p.m. This event is for adults 18 and over only. No outside food or drink, concession stand will be open.
