The Healthy Start Coalition of Osceola County will host an Infant Mortality Awareness Walk to honor babies lost, support families who have experienced infant loss, and raise awareness about the importance of improving maternal and infant health in our community.
It will be held Saturday, Sept. 19 from 9-11 a.m. at the Kissimmee Lakefront Park Lighthouse Lawn.
The event will bring together families, healthcare professionals, community partners, and supporters to remember the lives of babies who were lost while highlighting the importance of working together to prevent future infant deaths. The Healthy Start Coalition works to improve birth outcomes through education, support, referrals, and community partnerships that connect families with resources for healthy pregnancies and healthy beginnings.
