Create memories at a Mother-Daughter Candle Making class on Saturday, Aug. 29 from 11 a.m.to 1 p.m. at the Oak Street Park Community Center (717 N. Earlier in the morning, from 9-10 a.m., dive into Pool Pals Story Time at Bob Makinson Aquatic Center on Denn John Lane for “The Pout-Pout Fish Goes to School” by Deborah Diesen, and water play for children up to age 8. Get in the game with Osceola Flag Football, a premier youth flag football league for boys and girls in grades K–8. Registrations are now open for players of all skill levels to build football fundamentals, teamwork, confidence, and character in a fun, community-centered environment. No school on Friday, Sept. 25? The city has you and your kids covered with the No School Camps: Camp Discovery & Teen Extreme. Kids can enjoy games, arts and crafts, sports, and exciting field trips. Camp Discovery grades K–5 will visit the Orlando Science Center and is located at Oak Street Park Community Center, 717 N Palm Ave., Kissimmee, FL 34741.
