The weather for the week ahead is pretty simple. Nothing major is expected, so we are going to be partly cloudy with high temperatures in the 80s and there could be a shower or thunderstorm from time to time. The best chance will probably come around Friday at 50 percent.

That bright planet to the West-northwest after sunset is Venus and around 3 a.m. The moon along with Jupiter and Saturn are clustered together in the Southeastern sky.  It looks like a very active hurricane season coming.

The official forecast is eight hurricanes this season with four of them being category 3 or higher and that is not good! The first storm will be named Arthur and the second Bertha. The entire state of Florida looks to be under the gun this season with the gulf and Caribbean being a prime source of development and after looking at all the data, it is very worrisome.

I would love to have a weather spotter or two in Osceola or surrounding counties and what I would like is for us to be able to do a video call on messenger when there is active weather. I would like a video call so you would be able to show me the sky or the storm and things like that. If this is something you could help me with, I would appreciate it and you can reach me at weather1@charter.net.
