Suspects arrested in St. Cloud for armed robbery, aggravated assault

Five suspects arrested by the St. Cloud Police Department after robbing a convenience store at gunpoint in the city are believed to be the same males who allegedly robbed two other stores last week.

On Saturday, at about 12:32 a.m., St. Cloud police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Circle K gas station located at 2901 Canoe Creek Road in St. Cloud.

 Upon arrival, officers learned that six males armed with firearms entered the store, threatened employees, damaged store property and demanded money from the cash register. The males then fled from the area prior to officers arriving.

At approximately 11:32 p.m., St. Cloud officers responded to reports of several vehicle burglaries at Gramercy Farms Subdivision. During these vehicle burglaries, the suspects stole a Taser from an unmarked police vehicle.

St. Cloud officers then responded to another report of an armed robbery at the Gramercy Farms Subdivision. Upon arrival, officers learned that five males armed with a Taser, entered a home under construction and demanded money and property from the construction workers. One of the workers attempted to flee but was shot with the Taser and received severe injuries to his face. The males then fled the area on foot.

After an extensive search of the area, with the assistance of the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, officers and detectives were able to locate and arrest the five suspects. They were identified as 15-year-old Felipe Leal Do Nascimento, 16-year-old Bruno Dalpra, 16-year-old Thallys De Souza, 17-year-old David Souza Cesario and 13 year-old Enrico Paterlini Gervasio.

The sixth suspect that participated in the initial armed robbery has been identified and charges are pending. The charges included armed robbery, home invasion, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery, armed burglary, and several other offenses.

St. Cloud police officials believe they are the same suspects who were sought by the Sheriff’s Office for armed robberies of two other convenience stores last week.

On Aug. 20 at 3:49 a.m., deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 5880 W. U.S. Highway 192 in Kissimmee.

When deputies arrived, they were advised that six males ran into the business confronting the store clerk. Several of the suspects were armed with firearms and demanded money from the cash register. The suspects also stole items from the store before leaving in the dark-colored vehicle.

At 4:33 a.m. deputies received another report of an armed robbery at 7-Eleven located at 8010 Osceola Polk Line Road, Davenport. The same suspects ran into the business, pointing firearms at the employee and demanded money from the register. The suspects also stole items from the store before leaving in the dark-colored vehicle.
