On Sept. 24, detectives with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit were working to locate online predators.

During the investigation, conversations began between a suspect later identified as Trever Gary Killette, 32, and an undercover detective posing as a 14- year-old child. During the online chat, Killette asked, who he believed to be a child, for nude pictures, according to a Sheriff's Office report. He also sent the child two sexually explicit pictures of himself. On Nov. 4, detectives with the ICAC unit contacted Killette who was cooperative with the investigation. Based on the investigation and evidence, an arrest warrant was obtained on Killette for lewd conduct, use of computer to seduce, solicit or lure a child and two counts of transmission of harmful materials to a minor. On Nov. 5, an arrest warrant was obtained and Killette was placed in custody. He was transported to the Osceola County Jail with no bond. Anyone with information related to this case is asked tocontact the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office at 407-348-2222 or Crimeline at 1-800-423-8477, where information leading to a felony arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
