St. Cloud woman killed in crash

A St. Cloud woman was killed in a Thursday morning crash after her vehicle overturned.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, the 27-year-old woman was driving an SUV northbound on North Canoe Creek Road near Landing Road, when for an unknown reason she failed to negotiate a curve and left the roadway.

The SUV overturned into a water-filled ditch. The woman was pronounced dead on scene.

Troopers are still trying to identify what time the crash occurred. A passerby spotted the vehicle just before 8 a.m.

The crash remains under investigation.
