Childcare is a critical workforce support in our community and helps keeps Osceola County working.  The Early Learning Coalition of Osceola County is now the local contact for a new program launched by the Florida Department of Education and Office of Early Learning.   This program will help first responders and healthcare workers increase access to childcare by providing scholarships and referrals to open childcare programs.  There are no income guidelines for this program and families with children under the age of 13 are eligible.

The coalition is looking to partner with critical businesses and community leaders as we fight this pandemic to ensure that children and families have the best, healthiest and safest childcare options available. We are stronger together and the Early Learning Coalition of Osceola County is here to help ensure that employees with children have the tools and resources they need.

Please contact me at 407-933-5353 or akelkenberg@elcosceola.org if you would like to discuss ways to roll out this program in your company or would like more information on how the Early Learning Coalition can support the workforce today – and every day. Employees can directly access this program through our partner, Community Coordinated Care for Children, Inc. (4C), and can find information at www.elcosceola.org or www.4cflorida.org.
