The Osceola County Association of Realtors celebrated the opening of their new office.
The new building, which is approximately three times larger, is located on the same site as the original office that was constructed in 1985.
In addition to a boardroom and offices, it includes a large multipurpose space on the second floor which, when not used for classes, will be available for businesses, organizations and community groups to rent.
In addition, a new feature to the association is a Members Lounge, an exclusive area for members to work or wait while at the association. As a tribute to emeritus member and longtime community leader, the Members Lounge was named in honor of William “Nick” Nichols who made a significant impact on the real estate industry.
Past presidents Linda Goodwin-Nichols and Karen Dierickx, who participated in the first ribbon cutting 35 years ago, were present and joined the Board of Directors at this special dedication ceremony.
“This project has been underway for several years now and it’s very exciting to see it finally come to fruition. It shows the growth of our community and the professionalism of our members to the real estate industry,” stated 2020 President Joe Johnson.
