Osceola crash kills Georgia man trying to pass traffic

A Georgia man was killed in an Osceola crash on Monday after trying to pass traffic.
The 44-year-old Georgia resident was driving a 2017 Honda SUV westbound on State Road 60 at about 5:50 p.m., a Florida Highway Patrol report stated.

Meanwhile, a 57-year-old Pompano Beach woman was driving a pickup truck, pulling a trailer, eastbound.
According to witnesses, the Georgia man attempted to pass traffic in the eastbound lane and hit the left side of the trailer. He then hit a pickup truck head-on, that was driving behind the woman pulling the trailer.
The Georgia man was pronounced dead on scene.
The Pompano Beach woman was not injured.
The third driver in the pickup truck, a 47-year-old man from Vero Beach, was listed in critical condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
