Recently, Arrington purchased two hogs at the KVLS Livestock Show during the Osceola County Fair from two 4-H students: Will Owen, 6th grade homeschooled and Kolton White, 12th grade at Harmony High School.

This donation will help the Osceola Council on Aging help our community who are in need.

“We are so grateful that Commissioner Brandon Arrington donated the sausage and that we will be able to assist our community and the people that are in need,” said Wilda Belisle, senior vice president of Osceola Meals on Wheels. “This will put food on several families tables and we are grateful for these 4-H students and Commissioner Arrington for this wonderful donation.”

Arrington said, “It’s important to understand the needs in our community and knowing that the Osceola Council on Aging could use this donation of over 400 pounds of sausage to feed our community, It was the right thing to do,” said Arrington. "When I purchased these two hogs at the KVLS show from 4-H students, Will and Kolton, we knew right away that we needed to donate this to the community and the Osceola Council on Aging was the right place to make it happen.”
