Osceola Chamber’s 20th Three Kings Day celebration Jan. 5

The Osceola Chamber announces that the Three Kings will once again make their annual visit to Osceola County on Sunday, Jan. 5 in celebration of the Three Kings Day holiday. Three Kings Day is celebrated in many countries around the world. This tradition is much older than that of Santa’s visit on Christmas Eve.

The Osceola Chamber will bring its 20th annual Three King’s Day Osceola celebration to Old Town in Kissimmee on Sunday, Jan. 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. President/CEO John Newstreet and the Three Kings will will host a press conference on Friday, Jan. 3, at 11 a.m. at the Old Town Christmas Tree in Old Town to share the details of the event and offer a sneak peek of the toys and what else to expect at the 2025 event.

In much of Latin America Three King’s Day, also known as the Epiphany or Día de los Reyes, takes place on Jan. 6 and recognizes the Three Wise Men, or Kings, as they bring their gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh to baby Jesus. For children in many Latin American cultures, it is the day they most look forward to for holiday gifts and treats.

On the feast of the Epiphany, the three kings visited the newly born Christ Child in Bethlehem bearing him gifts. This tradition is repeated and reflected in present day with the belief that on this eve the Three Kings will visit every good child to deliver their gifts. If a child has been good for the past year he will receive toys, but if the child was misbehaved or naughty, he would instead find a lump of dirt or charcoal. In the spirit of giving and celebration of Three Kings Day, The Osceola Chamber’s Three Kings Day celebration will include toy giveaways, bicycle and tablet raffles, business vendors, free treats, live music, and more.

Three Kings Day 2025 is sponsored by AdventHealth, Florida Technical College, Experience Kissimmee, Kissimmee Utility Authority, ABC Paving & Sealcoating, Valencia College, Toho Water Authority, Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, and SeaWorld Orlando.
