Local groups organizing drive-through pantry for families in need due to COVID-19

Multiple organizations in the Osceola County are community coming together to help those in need with food at an Osceola Heritage Park drive-through pantry Thursday.

It will be from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at OHP, 1875 Silver Spur Lane, Kissimmee. Once at the property, follow the signs to the location.

 The Osceola Council on Aging, Community Hope Center, Salvation Army, St. Cloud Food Pantry, city of Kissimmee, Osceola Heritage Park, and the Second Harvest Bank are coming together to hand-out food to those who are experiencing hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The residents will drive-through and collect food and fresh vegetables on-site through the drive-thru food pantry. The organizations were seeing the need and came together to help those who are stressed and worried about putting food on their tables, so they are working together to make Osceola County a safe and healthy community.
