Fatal crash in Osceola County.
A 60-year-old Kissimmee man was killed in a traffic crash on Monday, after his vehicle struck a tree.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, a 23-year-old Orlando man was traveling southbound on Vineland Road is a sedan, approaching U.S. Highway 192, at about 7:41 p.m.
The Kissimmee driver was traveling westbound in a SUV on U.S. Highway 192, approaching Vineland Road.
When both vehicles entered the intersection, the sedan struck the right side of the SUV, the patrol report stated. The SUV left the roadway after the crash and the left side hit a tree. The driver later died at a hospital. A 60-year-old female passenger in the SUV suffered serious injuries.
The driver of the sedan suffered minor injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol no longer identifies victims of a traffic crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
