The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Kissimmee man after he was caught with possession of child pornography.

Timothy Arias was charged with nine counts of promotion of child pornography.

According to a Sheriff’s Office report, on April 27, the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) notified the agency about an incident regarding child sexual exploitation material, so detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit began an investigation into the case.

On July 2, detectives with the ICAC unit served a search warrant at 808 Mansion Lane, Kissimmee, regarding the case.

Arias was cooperative with the investigation, the report stated. Based on information obtained during the investigation, Arias was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail with a $22,500 bond.

Anyone with information related to this case or any other similar incidents, is asked to contact the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office at 407-348-2222.
