The Osceola Sheriff’s Office announced it has made an arrest stemming from an altercation at the Kissimmee Youth Academy complex on New Beginnings Road.
Charles-Edouard Jeune, 32, was taken into custody without incident at the Sheriff’s Office and charged with child abuse, aggravated child abuse and battery on a prisoner with great bodily harm.
According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies responded to the facility for a physical altercation that occurred between a 15-year-old juvenile housed at the facility and a security guard later identified as Jeune. The juvenile had to be transported to the hospital to receive stitches for a wound to his head. The arrest came Tuesday after detectives interviewed numerous witnesses and the parties involved.
