The Kissimmee Police Department worked a traffic incident on Monday morning after a train hit a vehicle.

Police had shut down the intersection of West Penfield Street and South Clyde Avenue for several hours after the CSX train hit the car. The vehicle was stopped on the railroad tracks while a CSX train was in route.

It has since been re-opened.

Two CSX employees were on the train at the time of the crash, but were not injured.

A person, who was in the car, was transported to Osceola Regional Medical Center in stable condition.
