City to reopen application process for security deposit & first-month rent assistance program on Oct. 26

The city of Kissimmee will reopen the application process for the security deposit and first-month rent assistance program on Monday, Oct. 26, at 8 a.m. to assist qualifying household who have been affected by COVID-19 and are now unemployed or underemployed. 
Grant funds are available for households looking to relocate or downsize due to the reduction of income. 
To be eligible to participate in the program, you must: 

  1. Be unemployed or underemployed due to loss of income because of COVID-19.
  2. Residence must be physically located in the City of Kissimmee limits.
  3. Income must be less than the amount shown below based on the number of persons in the household:

    Number of persons in he household  and maximum income allowed: 1- $40,750; 2- $46,550; 3- $52,350; 4- $58,150; 5- $62,850 6- $67,500; 7- $72,150; 8-$76,800
