A longtime City of Kissimmee employee is out of a job after being accused of placing a hidden camera in the bathroom of a cruise ship during a trip last week.

The city said this week that, after reviewing the charging affidavit in the case, Jeremy Froias' employment was terminated effective Monday. Froias was a cyber security officer with the city, and had been with the city since 2004.

According to charging affidavits from the FBI and U.S. District Court for Puerto Rico, Froias, 41, is charged with video voyeurism and attempted possession of child exploitation material. He allegedly installed a hidden camera above the door facing the toilet of a public bathroom on a Royal Caribbean cruise that left Miami on April 29. The report said on May 1 a passenger found the camera and reported it to the crew. The camera caught footage of about 150 people -- including children -- using the bathroom, in some cases changing out of swimsuits. The camera also caught Froias adjusting it.

During interrogation, Froias admitted to installing the camera, and knew it had been found and taken when he looked for it and couldn't find it, according to the court documents.
