30 to 40% chance of thunderstorms, temps in upper 80s

Subhead

The forecast for your Memorial Day weekend is pretty much as you would expect for this time of year.

Partly cloudy along with very warm and humid conditions from Thursday through Monday with about a 30 to 40 percent chance of a thunderstorm each afternoon. High temperatures will range from the upper 80s to low 90s.

It sure didn't take long for us to get our first tropical system out of the way as Arthur formed off the east coast of Florida and moved out into the Atlantic.

We still have the trio of Jupiter, Saturn and Mars in the Southeastern sky before daylight and Venus is low on the horizon in the evening sky to the northwest. Our sunrise is now 6:33 a.m., with sunset at 8:12 p.m.

If you ever take any interesting weather photos around the county would you email them to me, I would love to see them weather1@charter.net and I'm always available if you have any weather questions or need weather data.
