25 Osceola students test positive for COVID-19, 385 quarantined

A total of 25 Osceola School District students have tested positive for COVID-19, while 385 students have been quarantined, according to a district website.

 

The schools with positive student cases found on the district’s Start Smart! site (www.osceolaschools.net/COVID-19Incidents) were:

 

Elementary schools: Highlands (1), Mill Creek, (1) Partin Settlement (1), Ventura (1) and Poinciana Academy of Fine Arts (1).

Middle schools: Harmony (4), Kissimmee (3) and Narcoossee (1).

High schools: Gateway (3), Harmony (2), Liberty (1), Osceola (2), Tohopekaliga (2) and Zenith Accelerated Learning Academy (2).

A total of 385 students have been quarantined. Ninety-nine were at Tohopekaliga High; 56 at Harmony High; 45 at Gateway High and 32 at Thacker Elementary.

A total of 11 school employees tested positive, while 25 have been quarantined.
