Hope Now of Osceola County, the area’s advocacy group for domestic violence victims and survivors, held its annual fundraising gala Friday at Osceola Heritage Park. Donors came to sample incredible food offerings from local chefs and caterers tapas style – in small, shareable portions – and to bid on silent auction items ranging from art to family game-night packs to ticket packages for theme parks and local sports teams.
Thousands of dollars were raised to assist Help Now in advocating for victims, and providing safe haven and a defense against their abusers.
