A deadly crash on West U.S. Highway 192 just east of Interstate 4 left a Kissimmee man dead after Florida Highway Patrol troopers say his motorcycle was hit by another vehicle changing lanes.
According to FHP's crash report, the 42-year-old man was riding his Honda CBR1000 motorcycle westbound in the inside lane of 192 near Arabian Nights Boulevard just after 4:45 p.m. Saturday. Troopers say a Lexus RX driven by a 61-year-old Miami man also headed west changed lanes into the path of the motorcyclist, causing the front of the motorcycle to collide with the rear of the Lexus. The impact forced the motorcycle off the roadway to the left, throwing the rider from the vehicle. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the Lexus were not injured and remained at the scene following the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
