Merry Christmas Poinciana!
As evident by all of the stunning homes in the Sparkle Poinciana videos, the community has Christmas spirit and are willing to show it. To view the homes that were submitted go to the Association of Poinciana Village’s (APV) Facebook page. Christmas is about the celebration of the birth of Jesus. Keep kindness in your heart and be thoughtful to your neighbors. Hold your family close and if some can’t be with you this year, be hopeful next year will be different.

You do not want to miss the Holiday Movie Under the Stars – A Dive-in movie on Tuesday, Dec. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mary Jane Arrington Aquatic Center heated pool. The Mary Jane Arrington Gym and Aquatic Center, 625 Country Club Drive, has adjusted it’s pool hours to a winter schedule. The Victory Pool is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Competition Pool is open 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

#ThisisPoinciana, a quarterly photo contest has a holiday photo theme this quarter. Submit your favorite photo. Submissions will be posted on the Community Social Media Pages to spread holiday cheer. The photo with the most “Likes” will win a $50 gift certificate for RTW Photography. The deadline to enter is Dec. 31. Email submissions to liz.wargo@fsresidential.com.

There is still time to register for Poinciana Beautiful 2020. For the past four years, the Association of Poinciana Villages (APV), spends all year looking for the most well maintained and attractive homes in Poinciana. APV has seen and nominated many homes, but they know that there might be some that they have missed. Residents, don’t be shy! Nominate your home to hold the title of Poinciana Beautiful Home of the Year for your Village. One home from each village is chosen by APV’s independent judges to be honored with this award. The winners will be announced at an Over the Top awards ceremony and Gala Event in January.
