Hello Beautiful! Poinciana Beautiful 2020 is ready to take your entries. For the past four years, the Association of Poinciana Villages (APV), spends all year looking for the most well maintained and attractive homes in Poinciana.

APV has seen and nominated many homes, but they know that there might be some that they have missed. Residents, don’t be shy! Nominate your home to hold the title of Poinciana Beautiful Home of the Year for your Village. One home from each village is chosen by APV’s independent judges to be honored with this award. The winners will be announced at an over the top awards ceremony and gala event in January. To enter your home in Poinciana Beautiful 2020, go to: https:// files.constantcontact.com/ dd13e8bb501/826fc832- a823-4c32-be10- d650b77b94a5.pdf.

Join the Poinciana Area Council (PAC) on Friday, Nov. 20, at Poinciana High School, 2300 S. Poinciana Blvd. for a pre-Thanksgiving lunch. Attendees will also have a chance to tour the new Osceola Business Academy and hear from the Academy Team about ways your business can engage with our County’s future entrepreneurs.

PAC recognizes that these are challenging times. PAC supports local businesses and community. This is a free event for all attending. Attendees will receive a free Thanksgiving-themed boxed lunch that they may eat onsite, in an outdoor socially distanced setting while networking or take with them to eat at their leisure. Lunch will be catered by the culinary program at Poinciana High School.

Space is limited for this event. To register go to: kissimmeechamber.com or bit.ly/PACLunch2020.

On Monday, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m., the Poinciana Medical Center will present their next Ask-A-Doc Program. Log on to Poinciana Medical Center’s Facebook page as Board Certified Surgeon Dr. Owen Kieran, will discuss gall bladder pain.
