5K race raises over $25,000 for the Osceola Meals on Wheels program

Osceola Council on Aging's March for Meals 5K sponsored by KUA was on Saturday, March 13, at Kissimmee Lakefront Park. There were over 300 participants and over 22 teams that participated. Everyone had a great time and dressed up in their best green. 
Some of the winners were:
Largest Team: Osceola County Tax Collector Bruce Vicker's Office
Most Spirited Team: Luck Charmers
Best Female Runner: Serina Cardosa
Best Male Runner:Oscar Cruz
The event raised over $25,000 for the Osceola Meals on Wheels program.  Council members said they were thankful for all those who came out to support fighting hunger in Osceola County.  The council wanted to thanked KUA, Toho Water Authority, city of Kissimmee, United Healthcare, Florida Blue, Magic Development, Infill Consulting Services, Osceola County Sheriff's Office, and so many more who helped make this event happen.
