School starts on Aug. 12 in Osceola County, a Thursday.
Ahead of that, all Osceola students and parents are encouraged to attend their school’s Back-To-School Open House earlier in that week.
It’s a chance to prepare for the new school year, meet teachers and administrators and get familiar if it’s a new school for the student.
Osceola public schools will hold in-person Open Houses according to this schedule:
• August 9
All high schools, including Osceola County School for the Arts, 4-7 p.m.
• August 10
All middle schools and K-8 schools, 4-7 p.m.
• August 11
All elementary schools, 4-7 p.m.
Parents and students can also view video content from their schools’ FlipGrid accounts, a video resource that allows teachers to post videos with accompanying text, at https://www.osceolaschools.net/ChoiceTours.
