A 22-year-old female passenger was killed in a Buenaventura Lakes crash on Sunday, after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

 

According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, the 22-year-old male driver, of Kissimmee, was traveling southbound on Buenaventura Lakes Boulevard, near Wagon Circle, in a sedan at about midnight, when for an unknown reason failed to negotiate a curve.

The car left the roadway and the right side of the vehicle struck a tree. A 22-year-old passenger, of Kissimmee, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second passenger, a 1-year-old child, suffered minor injuries.

The driver was listed in critical condition.

The Florida Highway Patrol no longer identifies crash victims.
