Summer is approaching, which means water park season is just around the corner. Lucky for us, we live close to many of them.

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is open year round, but it offers something special in the summer.

Starting today, Disney H2O Glow Nights will transform the water park into a nighttime celebration, with shorter wait times for the attractions, DJ-hosted dance parties, exclusive character meet-and-greets, limited-time food and beverages, and more.

According to Disney, here are some things to “know before you glow”:

This is a separately ticket event.

That means, you can’t get into the water park for this event with a regular ticket. Even if you have a water park annual pass.

All new, returning and passholder guests must purchase a separate ticket for H2O Glow Nights.

Tickets may be purchased in advance for $59 per adult and $54 per child (ages 3-9). Guests can purchase these tickets online, and must select the date that the party will be attending.

Tickets will be available at the gate on special event nights, as long as the event has not sold out. Day-of tickets are $69 per adult and $64 per child (ages 3-9).

Note: Tickets are not required for children ages 3 and under.

Because this is an exclusive event, guests can expect exclusive entertainment.

H2O Glow Nights feature nighttime fun, that you can’t have at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon during the day.

These experiences include glow-in-the-dark, DJ-hosted dance parties, character meet-and-greet opportunities with Pixar characters from the animated feature film series Toy Story, limited-time food and beverage from select eateries in the water park, plus a special adults-only area of the park.

And remember, the fun happens on select nights only.

H2O Glow Nights is offered every Thursday and Saturday from May 30 through Aug. 24, except for June 20.

The dates include: May 30; June 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 22, 27 and 29; July 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25 and 27; Aug. 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22 and 24.

The party runs 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. However, guests with event tickets are welcome to arrive as early as 6 p.m.
