4 things you and your family should do this weekend

 

  • INFINITY TOY AND COMIC CON – KISSIMMEE

Infinity Toy and Comic Con is coming to Central Florida’s Osceola Heritage Park (1875 Silver Spur Lane, Kissimmee) for two full days of toys, comic books, anime and pop culture from vendors to special guests. Attendees can also participate in a cosplayer costume contest, and take photos with the Jurassic Park Jeep #18 and Harry Potter Flying Ford Anglia.

Admission to Infinity Toy and Comic Con Kissimmee is $15. Guests can purchase a 2-day “Weekend Pass” for a discounted rate of $25. Kids ages 10 and under receive free admission.

  • OLD TOWN’S FAMILY MOVIE AND GAME NIGHT

Bring the whole family to Old Town on Sunday, for family-friendly games and a movie on the big screen. The games will begin at 5 p.m., in the South Entertainment Area. The movie, “A Wrinkle in Time,” will  begin at 7 p.m.

Admission is free. Guests may bring their own chairs and snacks.

  • 3 SISTERS 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

3 Sisters is celebrating its 10th anniversary this weekend. Everyone is invited to join the party on Saturday night. Food and drink specials, plus raffles throughout the night.

  • JUST A GLAZIN’S ‘MADE WITH LOVE’

Just a Glazin in St. Cloud invites families to stop by the studio on Sunday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., to paint something special in time for Grandparents Day (Sunday, Sept. 9). Pottery pieces include plates, mugs, tiles and more, with new materials and pencils that won’t fire off. Staff will also offer help with creating a “handprint keepsake” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
