Are y’all ready for a good time? Every March, Country’s hottest stars head to Kissimmee for three nights under the sun and stars at the Runaway Country music festival.
“The 8th annual Runaway Country promises to be one of the most entertaining ever,” said Runaway Country Producer Gary McCann.
The festival, known as the largest gathering of country stars in Florida, has brought entertainment to Central Florida since its first concert in 2011. It includes performers (see names below), food, craft beers, shopping and more— all for a hootin’ good time.
The best part about this three-day event? You can stay for the whole thing. From small tents to super RVs, you can camp right on the festival site. The OHP grounds offer electronic-only camping, water-only camping and water and electric combined camping. The sites are available in a variety of sizes. Additional camping details and prices are available on the festival’s website, www.RunawayCountry.net.
Not up for camping? You can lodge nearby at one of Runaway Country’s recommended hotels, also available on the festival’s website.
Whether you’re camping out, staying nearby or just visiting for the day, you can get out of the heat and chill out at My Apartment— a cool, 17,000 sq.ft. dual-span stage and concert room. You can enjoy entertainment all day and an After Hours Party at night.
Want to keep the party going? Open all day until 1 a.m., The Silver Spurs Party Zone is the place to be if you love to dance.
“Get your rest now. There is more live country music coming to Osceola Heritage Park than most people have ever taken in on one weekend,” said McCann.
Friday: Brantley Gilbert, Drake White, Walker Hayes, Little Texas, Muscadine Bloodline, High South, Spayed Koolie, Kelsey Lamb and Mackenzie Carey.
Saturday: Florida Georgia Line, Brett Young, John Anderson, Parmalee, The Steel Woods, Ashley McBryde, Cross Atlantic, Muscadine Bloodline, Johnny Reed Foley and Natalie Stovall.
And finally, Sunday: Darius Rucker, Kane Brown, Cassadee Pope, Lanco, Sundance Head, Adam Craig, Randy McNeeley, Carli Tuttle, Jericho Woods and Here Come the Mummies.
Performance schedules are available on the festival’s website. DJ Shane will perform throughout the weekend.
Some of the festival’s past performers include big-name stars like Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, Lady Antebellum and many more.
