One lucky winner and a guest will receive a pair of meet-and-greet tickets to meet country star Toby Keith. Think that’s cool? The winners will also be seated on stage for his headlining performance on Friday, March 22. And if that’s not enough, free admission for the rest of the three-day festival.

“We wanted to create an experiential prize that would capture the imagination of readers of the Osceola News-Gazette. An experience they could not buy,” said Country Thunder Music Festivals’ Director of Marketing and Media Gerry Krochak. “The thrill of meeting a headline artist or getting to sit onstage during a performance is a memory that will last a lifetime.”

Want to win?

Here’s how to enter:

Show Toby some love. Submit to us your best four lines or lyrics to a song written to, for, or about Toby Keith.

You can mail your print entries — forms can be found on page 12 — to the Osceola News-Gazette office, located at 108 Church St., Kissimmee. Web entries are also accepted, and can be emailed to contest@osceolanewsgazette.com. Note: If submitting via email, include your name, phone number and address, in addition to your lyrics.

Contestants must be 18 years or older to enter. Only one entry per contestant.

The contestant with the best submitted lyrics will win the ultimate prize package. All other contestants will be entered into a raffle, where names will be drawn at random to win more awesome prizes — including single-day and weekend passes.

Take your shot! We want to hear from you.

About Country Thunder

Now in its 23rd year, Country Thunder is one of the premiere country music festivals in North America. The outdoor, weekend festival is a party of food, drinks and, of course, live country music by some of the genre’s biggest stars.

The traveling festival makes its way across the continent, from Arizona and Wisconsin (United States), to Alberta and Saskatchewan (Canada).

For the first time ever, it will make a stop in Florida — right here in Kissimmee.

The Kissimmee show’s headliners include Toby Keith, Luke Combs and Luke Bryan. Other  artists are (Friday, March 22): Noah Schnacky, Jimmie Allen, High Valley, Chris Lane; (Saturday, March 23): Jameson Rodgers, Waterloo Revival, Restless Heart, Maddie and Tae, Granger Smith feat. Earl Dibbles Jr.; (Sunday, March 24): Runaway June, Mitchell Tenpenny, Lanco and Tracy Lawrence.
