We might be in the dead of summer as Florida’s temperatures are at their peak, but Walt Disney World has the fall season on its mind.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off spooky season in less than one month, with its first party of the season on Aug. 17. The parties will continue on select nights through Oct. 31, 2018.

While many of the party favorites will return — like the favored trick-or-treat stations, character meet-and-greets, castle shows, fireworks and more — there are a lot of new elements to look forward to.

Guests can take a spin on The Mad Tea Party, with new lighting and effects giving a new take on the night. Depending on the color of your costume, you may transform under the light.

Pirates of the Caribbean will come to life this season, as pirate characters invade the experience and interact with sailing guests. Together you can join the search for “Gunpowder Pete.”

Space Mountain will take explorers even deeper into space, with a new soundtrack and special effects.

Also new to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Fantasyland’s Storybook Circus presents the Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam— a dance party, featuring Disney Junior characters including Doc McStuffins.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is recommended for guests of all ages. The parties take place on select nights only, and are not included with annual pass membership.
