Osceola County will soon be getting its first Froggers Bar & Grill location.
The restaurant, known for its menu of wings, cheesesteak and selection of craft beers, is coming to Old Town later this year.
“We are excited to include Froggers Bar & Grill as another great restaurant option for our guests,” said Old Town General Manager Thearon Scurlock, in a news release.
“Froggers Bar & Grill fits perfectly within our demographic and tenant mix, and is another example of our commitment to revitalizing Old Town.,” he added.
The new addition at Old Town will mark Froggers fifth location in the Orlando area since opening in 1986.
Other locations include Oviedo, Apopka, Mount Dora and Altamonte Springs.
“Selecting Old Town as the next location made sense for us,” said Froggers Owner George Hakim.
“Our family-friendly environment and casual, full service menu will become a favorite for locals and tourists alike,” he concluded in the release.
Old Town is currently in a $20 million-dollar renovation that includes additional retail space, more food options, an updated Main Street, and the addition of an 86-foot Ferris Wheel located at the front of the property.
Froggers open date is scheduled for this summer with Old Town’s renovations wrapping up early 2018.
Froggers is a locally owned sports bar. The new restaurant will be in the 7000-square-foot vacant space, formerly leased by Kool Katz. The space is located near Old Town’s front entrance Jukebox signs and Ferris Wheel with high visibility from U.S. 192.
