If you need another reason to see what’s up at the new and ever-growing Disney Springs, Florida residents can save 20 percent on their bill during the ongoing grand opening celebration.

In addition to new shops and restaurants, during the month of August,  along with the official grand opening of Town Center, the other Disney Springs neighborhoods, The Landing, Marketplace and West Side—will feature musical acts, spirited decor and limited-edition treats at select bake shops. The

Music acts will perform from 7 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.  in every neighborhood, with music styles ranging from pop, string, jazz, improvised rap, rock and Spanish guitar.

Outdoor venues include Exposition Park, Waterview Park, Sunshine Highline, Springs Overlook and Waterside Stage,  a picturesque amphitheater overlooking Lake Buena Vista.

The schedule musical acts to be on the lookout for:

•Black Violin (dynamic string duo)

•Sleeping Sunset (pop)

•I-4 Band (Top 40)

•Siaundra Lewis (contemporary jazz)

•Liam Duncan Trio (acoustic)

•Dayve Stewart (jazz)

•CeCe Teneal (R&B)

•Plus 1 (country)

•Gerry Williams Band (funk)

Also part of the fun are the Living Statues street performers found throughout Town Center Fridays and Saturdays from 6 to 10 p.m.

The Florida resident discount is available at the following Marketplace locations: World of Disney store, Tren-D and Once Upon a Toy. The discount is available now through Sept. 5. To receive discount, guests must mention the 20 percent discount promotion and present valid Florida resident ID or annual passholder Card. Restrictions apply.
