Children of the World choir is making its way to Central Florida for two special performances tomorrow, Sunday, Dec. 16.
First, the choir will perform at Cornerstone Family Church in St. Cloud, at 9 a.m. at 11 a.m. The children will then perform at Oasis Church in Winter Garden, at 6 p.m. These are just two of the many stops on the choir's 2018-2019 Refuge + Strength tour, which will take the children all over the U.S. telling stories of refugee children/families and raising awareness of the challenges that they face.
Children of the World is an international children’s choir founded by humanitarian organization World Help. This year, the children have come as far as Uganda and Nepal to sing, dance and tell stories of the refugee children whom are largely forgotten. The choir has been touring American for over two decades, featuring children from countries such as Nepal, Philippines, Honduras, and Uganda, where World Help has child sponsorship programs. After the tour, the children return to their home countries, where their education up to the university level is sponsored by World Help.
