Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested a Celebration High School student on Thursday for bringing an AR-15 rifle to school.
Gustavo Fernando Lozano-Silva, 18, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm on school

property, a third degree felony.
The investigation began when sheriff’s deputies received a report that a student had posted a video on social media that showed him standing in the parking lot of the school. During the video, the student shows the AR-15 rifle that was concealed in the trunk of his car where the spare tire is stored.
Lozano-Silva’s car was searched, and the unloaded, AR-15 rifle was found in the trunk spare tire storage area. The search did not reveal any ammunition. Lozano-Silva’s explanation for having the gun on campus was that he was taking the gun to get it cleaned after school at a local gun shop, a Sheriff’s Office report stated.
