E.P. Murphy Golf Classic
The 36th annual E.P. Murphy Golf Classic will be held May 4 at 8 a.m. at Kissimmee Bay Country Club. Proceeds benefit the Osceola County Sheriff’s youth programs. St. Cloud Hall of Fame weekend
St. Cloud High will host its Athletic Hall of Fame weekend with its annual banquet and a Touchdown Club golf tournament to benefit the football program The Hall of Fame Banquet and silent auction will be held May 3 at 7 p.m. at the Royal Crest Room and honor 2019 HOF inductees David Burgess, Jeanette Fullwood, Deloris McMillon, Tim McMullen and Lindy Oakley. Tickets are $30 per seat or $350 for a table of 10 and a sponsorship in the program. The Touchdown Club will hold its golf tournament at Royal St. Cloud Golf Club on May 4 with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Includes green fees, cart, lunch, range balls and prizes. KPD Howard & Baxter Scholarship Golf Tournament
The second installment of the Sgt. Sam Howard and Officer Matthew Baxter Memorial Golf Tournament will be held May 31 at Eagle Creek Golf Club. 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Cost is $75 per person or $300 per foursome, and includes golf, a BBQ lunch, raffle prizes and a silent auction. Corporate drink station, hole and other sponsorships are also available. Last year the tournament was a huge success with many of the entry positions filling rather quickly. All skill levels are invited to participate. EK Kissimmee Cares Golf Tournament
The third annual Kissimmee Cares Golf Classic will be held May 8 at Falcon’s Fire Golf Club with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Early bird pricing is $125 per person or $460 for a foursome, includes golf and lunch and the proceeds benefit the Community Hope Center. Top Gun basketball shooting camp
The annual Top Gun Basketball Camp will be held June 3-7 from 8 a.m.-noon at the St. Cloud High School gym for children in grades 4-12. Camp fee is $100 and includes camp shirt and daily drink and snack (campers should bring water daily). For an additional $40, campers can stay for “Overtime” until 1:30 p.m. and play full court games.
Camp often fills up (only 30 spots available for Overtime) and registration will be available at the door only if spots are available. Campers learn the finer points of shooting and passing from the St. Cloud High coaching staff and volunteers. Kissimmee Family Golf Classic
The first annual Kissimmee Family Golf Classic will be played June 20-23. The 54-hole, team scramble event is open to any combination of family members and will be a celebration of the bonds the game helps create. Cost of entry is $799 for a team of four. Wounded Veterans Golf Classic
Kissimmee Bay Country Club will host the fifth annual Wounded Veterans Golf Classic, a four-man scramble on Aug. 3 at 8 a.m. The entry fee of $54 includes golf, cart, lunch, prizes and awards. Osceola School District Legacy Program
The School District of Osceola County has launched a Legacy Club to promote greater community engagement with schools.
