The Orlando SeaWolves continue to build for the upcoming MASL season by bringing back one of their key cogs in the center of the pitch, midfielder Mario Alvarez, on a two-year contract. Per team and league policies, no further details were disclosed.
After joining the SeaWolves from the Cedar Rapids Rampage, Alvarez posted career highs in games played, goals and points, proving to be a key contributor in Orlando’s attack. He now re-joins the SeaWolves for his fifth season in MASL, having spent his first two professional seasons with the Chicago Mustangs before joining the Cedar Rapids Rampage in 2017.
“Mario gets better year after year,” SeaWolves General Manager Chris Kokalis said. “He was a priority this offseason and I’m glad to have him back this upcoming season. His ability to go 1v1 and create opportunities adds a tremendous amount of value to our offensive system.”
Season tickets are on sale now for the 2019-20 season for all Orlando SeaWolves home games starting as low as $10 per game.
